Backstage beauty looks London SS19

I love September. One: because its my birthday and two it’s fashion week across four major capitals. I always have fun working backstage at London Fashion Week and this year I had the opportunity assisting teams on seven shows.

This year I worked backstage at Chinese e-commerce VIP.com which presented unique collections from Bailuyu and Muzkin.

Skin was prepped using Dermilogica and Embryolise moisturiser. The look was fresh dewy skin. For base I used Bareminerals Bare Pro foundation applied with a beauty blender.  On lips I used Bobbi Brown Crushed Plum. The brows were kept natural and brushed up with clear brow gel.

Next up was Victor Wong where the makeup was paired down but no means low key. The  designer had his fashion eyewear of eclectic colours styled together with swimwear by fashion online retailer Zaful and papillon organza jackets by designer Ashtiani.

Glossy skin, blush, mascara only on the top lashes finished with brows brushed though with clear gel and nude lipgloss.

Onto hair which was led by Jason Hall, who with his team created moulded waterfall hair using R + Co. Here he breaks down how he created the look.

To create the look:
1. Begin by applying R+Co ONE Prep Spray, and blow-dry the hair smooth.
2. At the nape of the neck, slick all the hair back using a combination of R+Co WATERFALL Moisture Lotion and R+Co MOTORCYCLE Flexible Hold Gel. Leave the remaining hair untouched.
3. Secure hair firmly in a hair net and defuse dry.
4. Create airy texture using R+Co SPIRITUALIZED Dry Shampoo Mist on the longer length hair.
5. Final touch, spray R+Co NEON LIGHTS Dry Oil Spray for the ultimate runway shine.
